1. Electrothermal sprouting
The electric budding method is to control the budding temperature of tomato seeds and maintain the appropriate air humidity by placing electronic temperature control instruments inside the budding box. The budding temperature should be slightly lower at the beginning and gradually higher, and the temperature should be lowered again before budding. When 70% of tomato seeds are budding, the seeds should be wrapped with wet cloth and stored in the refrigerator, and the temperature can be maintained at 5 ℃.
2. Tile pot sprouting
The tile pot sprouting method is to clean the tomato seeds after seed soaking and disinfection, wrap them with clean wet gauze, and place them in the tile pot with straw laid in advance to prevent the tomato seeds from rotting and moldy due to water accumulation at the bottom of the tile pot. After placing them, cover them with a damp towel to maintain the humidity, and then place the tile pot in the hot Kang, the fire tunnel or the sprouting box.
3. Mixing sand to promote sprouting
The sand mixing method is to clean the tomato seeds after seed soaking and disinfection, and then mix them with the cleaned river sand in a ratio of 1:1.5. After that, put them into the tile basin, and then cover them with wet sand or wet cloth to keep the humidity. After that, put the tile basin at a suitable temperature to promote germination.
4. Sprouting with clear water
For the water germination method, firstly, carefully select the seeds with full grains and healthy appearance, and then prepare a suitable container, such as a dish or a water cup. After filling the container with a proper amount of water, put the selected tomato seeds without problems into the container. The water level should submerge the surface of the seeds and wait for three days.
5. High temperature budding
The high-temperature budding method means that the seeds are soaked in water at 55 ℃ - 60 ℃ for 15 minutes during the period of high temperature. In order to prevent the tomato seeds from drying, the seeds must be wrapped with a wet cloth and placed in a place with high air humidity. During the process, the seeds should be washed regularly to supplement water, and the seed bags should be observed frequently. When the wet cloth is dry, the water should be sprayed to maintain the humidity.
