Cucumber leaves turn white during its growth, which may be caused by powdery mildew. Cucumber powdery mildew is a common disease of cucumber, which may harm yellow flower all year round. Cucumber powdery mildew will endanger the leaves and stems of yellow leaves, and white powdery objects will appear on the leaves, and the leaves and stems will gradually become gray white.
If cucumber has powdery mildew, its diseased leaves need to be cut off and burned in a centralized manner. After pruning, the cucumber can be sprayed with carbendazim, chlorothalonil or methyl tobuzin. After the agent is diluted, the cucumber can be sprayed once in 7-10 days. Do not stop spraying in the middle. After 3-4 times of continuous spraying, the powdery mildew can be suppressed.
During the growth of cucumber, if the temperature is too high, the leaves will turn white. During the curing period, if the external temperature is too high, the cucumber will grow poorly, and the leaves will gradually turn white, yellow or dry and fall off. If the temperature is too high, the cucumber needs to be sprayed with water for cooling and humidification to provide a good growth environment.
During the curing period, cucumber leaves will also turn white after being attacked by insects. Pests lay a large number of eggs on the leaves of cucumber, which will make the leaves white and wither and turn yellow in the later stage. If it is caused by pests, it is necessary to trim the insect leaves of cucumber, and then spray them with relevant chemicals for treatment. Regular spraying can remove the insect eggs.
