1. Preparation before seedling emergence
Black seed cucumber can be used as rootstock for cucumber grafting. Before grafting, the cucumber seedlings should be moved out of the seedling bed with a bowl or directly grafted in the seedling bed. Cucumber seedlings need to be dug from the seedling bed, and then the roots need to be sprayed with carbendazim solution for sterilization and disinfection. After that, the seedlings can be placed on a clean plastic film to dry.
2. Cucumber centrifugation
After that, use a blade to remove the true leaves and growth points on the cucumber, then use a bamboo stick to stick to the top of the seedling stem, and pour it at a 30-45 degree angle with the stem, and obliquely insert 5 mm to 1 mm below the cotyledon at the other end. The depth is appropriate for the top of the bamboo stick to contact the epidermis of the seedling stem.
3. Treatment of Cucumber Seedlings
It is necessary to use a blade to cut a knife at the vertical side of the cucumber leaf growth direction, 5 mm away from the leaf, then cut the seedling stem into a monoclinic seedling shape, and then cut a knife from the back to make the seedling stem into a wedge shape. Pay attention to ensure the smoothness of the cut.
4. Operation method
After transplanting, pull out the bamboo stick from the seedling stem, insert the small section of the cucumber seedling downward into the jack of the cucumber seedling stem until the bottom, then put the inserted cucumber seedling into the seedling bed for breeding, and pour the seedling bowl. Pay attention to spraying water into the seedling bed frequently to keep it moist.
