2. Suitable seedling age
Watermelon seedlings need to be transplanted when more than 5 true leaves are grown. For seedlings with less than 3 leaves, their adaptability and resistance to the outside world are poor, and they are vulnerable to disease. After transplantation, the growth speed is slow, and even the seedlings may die.
3. Prevention and control of diseases and pests
After the watermelon seedlings are transplanted, trichlorfon solution should be sprayed into the soil in time to avoid the seedlings from being damaged by root knot nematodes. Otherwise, the root system of the seedlings will not be able to absorb the nutrients and water in the soil normally after the disease, which will lead to poor growth of watermelon.
4. Loose soil
